I never imagined I’d be an author. I thought my life would stay in the NICU, working as a charge nurse—and loving every chaotic, rewarding minute of it.
Then December 2021 happened. A traumatic brain injury and emergency surgery forced me to stop, really pay attention, and face the stuff I’d been ignoring—my health, my body, my emotions.
That pause turned into a journey I never expected: healing, self-discovery, and learning how trauma quietly shapes our lives.
Now, I share my story and the insights I’ve gained, hoping to encourage anyone who’s ready to take their own step toward healing—no matter where they’re starting from.
